SB 185 – Let New Orleans Fix Their Own Gun Problems

So if any of you in La have been paying attention we have a lot of murders in a  few cities…New Orleans being one of them….and some mental giant was interviewed about a gun control bill that they claim is not a gun control bill…It just controls guns and what you can and cannot do with them…

I caught an interview..here a cut and paste so I don’t get it wrong…”With Host Harmon Dash, Former State & Federal Prosecutor Glenn Burns advocates for SB 185 which allows ” you can catch this on Fb at New Orleans to deal with their gun violence.” you can catch the interview at …… all rights and legal BS to FB and these two bozo’s

I will get better at this I promise but let me go point by point and sort of build up as I learn this blog crap…….

So the first thing this Idiot, and please remember all views expressed here are my personal opinion and usually undeniably accurate and makes more sense then those we will make fun of…so mister Glen Burns is …well first he was and hell may still be a government worker, clue number one he couldn’t do well in private practice or as we call it the real world.  He doesn’t understand when you impose laws on an item that is control…so when he claims this gun control is not gun control……well you know my opinion of this loon…The political but mentally small guy that wrote the bill says somehow these points will help not “control” guns but control guns….YEAH I THOUGHT THE SAME SHIT????? WTF does this guy have a clue but here are the points and what I think…

1.  Prevent the trafficking of firearms by requiring the reporting of lost or stolen firearms…
Ok so how does that happen?  We will prevent the firearms being exchanged or sold by reporting the stolen or lost guns which will…..read “GUN CONTROL”…but wait will the gun stealer turn himself in?  will the nefarious buyer just not buy the stolen gun because it is illegal cause you know he won’t commit a crime with a stolen gun…really…hey lets just ask all the criminals to turn themselves in that should do it…yeah, lets pass a law like that…..

2.  Regulate the open carrying of firearms at large public events…
So let me ask y’all …did you even know La was an open carry state.  I would say most of you don;t…and most of the smart people in the state (you can substitute that line with gun owners, legal gun owners that is are smart enough to know some police wil off your ass as soon as they see ya…as self preservation now days and I don’t blame them..but can we all agree we seldom see this so this guy is writing a law “GUN CONTROL” to stop people that the smart ones don’t do and the criminals tend to know Our cops and well refer to #1

3.  Prohibit firearms from being carried into or around places where alcohol is served…
Excuse me but this is already a law so why a duplicate….maybe he needed a filler to get to 5….?

4.  Prohibit firearms from being carried in recreation centers and other public buildings
Is that all recreation and don’t places have a right to decide for themselves also don;t we all ready prohibit some public buildings isn’t this just another slight of hand…trying to get to that 5 number.

5.  Prevent the unsafe access of firearms by minor children…
because we seem to have a truly big problem with minor children getting legal guns or maybe they should change the law that if a minor has a gun with him (and this should be at state not parish or city level) the parents ass is in deep trouble and if the parent has tried lets help him out by adding some support for parents against truly bad kids…not inanimate guns…

So anyway these idiots had a nice talk about NOT GUN CONTROL…needs gun control…also these morons …sorry these guys start talking about statistics…and admit they can be manipulated but then they say 90 some percent of americans..well we aren’t talking about america but N’awlins…and what difference does it make touting that number, unless…you can show that some and i woudl say the same 90+% (hell if they can make shit up I can too) think we already have common sense gun control laws….

Then they start touting laws actually they used the term control but forgot this is not gun control…and start talking about gang shootings yet they aren’t writing laws for gangs or drug dealers or territorial crap they just pic headline words and and want to make more laws but not for the criminal….

And this idiot keeps talking about gun control but understand he did claim he didn’t want gun control except when he wants gun control…that is like the definition of FBI head COMEY who said leaking was people allowing leaks so people woudl get info that they wanted out but he didn’t leak he just let info out that he wanted out….Read it again..yes that idiot said that and now this idiot is not wanting to control guns by controlling guns for legals as i have yet to hear a damn thing that will stop a criminal….period!

Then they start on GUN SHOW LOOPHOLES…really…ever been to a gun show? ever bought a gun from a gun show? did you know that almost all vendors at gun shows are FFL dealers and do paperwork on you and criminals don’t go to gun shows to buy their guns…

Then they move on to gun purchase waiting period…did he not know they don’t have that but for specific guns and not all guns…

These two Bozo’s now start conflating guns with cars…because they claim you lic cars and you record sales of your car etc..etc..hell let me help them insurance also ..your car is insured…What they want is for us to stop with the analogy…I want to keep it going…Ok insure it…but then I get to take it to all 50 states and everywhere I go….but somehow I don’t think that is gonna be a topic they want to hear about and don’t want that car analogy to be used…to be honest neither do I because the second amendment doesn’t say car but right to bear arms…thank you!

The rest is just them claiming the people in Monroe and Shreveport and not sure if they threw in Baton Rouge.  You know the leading human trafficking city and places that have shooting problems themselves will feel safe to come to new orleans….I guess they will they will come armed to the teeth and we will be gunless…and not allowed to carry guns to anything or anywhere even though we are an open carry state…

So they claim these local areas should handle local problems but please someone anyone tell me what they talked about here will do anything to get guns out of the hands of the criminals…NOT A DAMN THING…in my opinion…
